Getting There: Minehead – Bude (full hike)
From Taunton (on the mainline rail service between London Paddington – Penzance) take the First Bus service 28 to Minehead
Instow: Johns of Instow amazing deli and cafe. There’s also a pub in the village
Bideford: Full town facilities
Appledore: pubs, cafes, convenience stores and another Johns Deli/Cafe!
Campsite: Brightlycott Barton Farm Barnstaple, SS 5804 3535 Small, basic campsite with shower block, kitchen and washing machine area. Lovely views, friendly farmer, fair price for a one person tent. The only downside is that it’s 3 miles outside of Barnstaple, which meant a £24.00 return taxi fare to/from the railway station
