Come and discover some of my favourite walking routes off the beaten track and away from the crowds. Then, when everyone heads to the beach you can enjoy some peace and tranquility – sounds good doesn’t it Want to know how you’ll find these wonderful walks? Follow me of course!
I’m building a library of Cornish walks that offer something a bit different for you. For example there’ll be unfamiliar walks along historic mining trails, with incredible views. And there’ll be spectacular coast to coast walks too, as well as routes on quiet creeks and dramatic cliffs.
Cornwall is famed for it’s beautiful beaches of course, but instead of a standard out and back along the cliffs, why not try something a bit different? I recommend the Falmouth Big Circular for instance, which includes a section of the South West Coast Path as well as a walk through the beautiful Cornish countryside. (There’s even a great pub for lunch in the middle!).
Lastly, there’s nothing better than a multi-day hike on the South West Coast Path to make you feel alive. And if that’s what you’re looking for I suggest you head over to my Trail Reports page for inspiration and plenty of useful information to help you plan your hike.
The 10 Mile Hike library is still growing, but will also include free walking routes from around the country. In the mean time why not plan a walk on one of the UK’s long distance trails? My trail reports from Cornwall, Devon and Norfolk should give you plenty of ideas and inspiration to pack your rucksack and get hiking!
The 10 Mile Hike library of free walks will be added to on a regular basis, so why not sign up for free updates (aka the 10 Mile Hike Newsletter) at the bottom of the page, or the subscribe to new blog posts so you don’t miss out?
And finally, if you’ve got a walk you’d like me to try, why not drop me a line and tell me about it? I’d love to hear from you.
