Work With Me

Hiking at Kynance Cove
10 Mile Hike exudes the turquoise seas and dramatic cliff tops synonymous with the South West Coast Path (the UK’s longest national trail), but there’s inspiration, tips, and guides here for women hikers all around the UK. And that’s because our rich and varied landscapes are the perfect place to build confidence and self-esteem through personal challenges and a deep connection with nature.
My ambition is for 10 Mile Hike to become an inspiring focal point for women of all ages who are ready to try something new, like hiking long-distance trails or solo wild-camping. So I share my hiking experiences through honest and uplifting stories, alongside my tips, comprehensive guides and local routes – all filled with inspiring photos and videos.
But 10 Mile Hike shares features and stories from women across the country too, because we all relate to different things and can learn so much from each others’ experiences.
10 Mile Hike is a supportive, inspiring community for women ready to go the extra mile!
If that sounds like something you or your organisation would like to be part of I’d love to hear from you. Email me at Stephie@10MileHike.com and let’s chat!

Guided Walks And Hikes

Planning a long-distance hike
If you’re an organisation or an individual looking for a qualified person to lead your group walks and hikes, you’ve found one! I qualified with Mountain Training to take groups out in lowland environments – I’m a full member of the Mountain Training Association and fully insured with an up-to-date outdoor first aid certificate.
Where Shall We Go?
There are thousands of miles of footpaths, national long-distance trails and national parks in the lowlands of the UK to explore and The South West Coast Path and Cornwall are up there with the best, so that’s where I’d love to take your group most. Whether you want to hike the whole 630 mile trail, go for section hikes or day walks, your enthusiasm and my local knowledge will ensure your group has an amazing time.
Then of course, there’s Cornwall. And down here in the far south west of the country we can get off the national trail and explore some of the county’s hidden gems, from coast to coast hikes, to the prehistoric sites of West Penwith.

Small Group Workshops For Women
When you explore the great outdoors on foot you’ll discover it’s an incredible way to increase confidence and self-esteem, but getting out there in the first place or having the confidence to explore somewhere new can be hard. With this in mind I can help you learn the skills you need to help you on your way to some unforgettable experiences. From basic map-reading to planning a hike, wild-camping to pitching a tent, I can design workshops to cover the skills you need*.
(*And I’m qualified to do that too, with a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from Plymouth University.)
So if you’ve got an idea, let’s talk.ย Drop me an email and well take it from there.
I really look forward to hearing from you!
Stephie
